You have chosen a ScanCube system and we thank you for your trust. Here are some helpful information to install your connected photo studio booth.
Recommended system: 1 PC equipped with an Intel Core i5, or i7, processor with 8 GB of Ram. (When using 8 GB of Ram, you will need to have the 64 Bits version of Windows installed.)
Minimum system: 1 PC equipped with an Intel Core i3 with 4 GB of Ram.
Operating system: Windows 7, Windows 8.
Recommended system: 4 GB of Ram minimum, 8 GB is recommended.(When using 8 GB of Ram, you will need to have the 64 Bits version of Windows installed.)
In order to use the EasyScanCube software, you will need an emulator:
2 free USB ports, 3 USB ports if you have a eView360 turntable, or 1 USB port with a USB hub, electrically powered by an external transformer, strongly recommended.
16/9 screen: 23” or 24”
4/3 screen: 19” or 20”
You will need two 220V power plugs as well as those needed for your computer and screen.
You will need to be able to easily turn off the room’s light (during shooting sessions). If the room has windows, they will need to have shutters or blackout curtains.
When taking top shots of a flat object, you will more than likely require a stool or stepladder.
To be able to create HTML animations, your computer will need to be connected to Internet.2
Provide a flat and stable surface for the booth, with your computer not far off. (A solid desk is enough for the 204 and 308 models. The bigger models require a dedicated piece of furniture or strong support.
Base dimensions of the 516, weighing 70 kg: 90 x 100 x 50 cm
Base dimensions of the 626, weighing 100 kg: 90 x 100 x 50 cm).
You will need enough space in front of the booth in order to correctly set up your tripod, depending on the size of the object to be photographed (from 1 to 4 meters).
It is possible to pilot the ScanCube system using a laptop computer. In this case, we highly recommend that you use a second calibrated screen in order to view your images with the closest color fidelity.
